Policies and Rates
- Room rates as of 2025
$190 per night plus the 13% local taxes = $214.70 plus a one time $75 cleaning fee.
- all major credit cards are accepted or cash. No checks
please.
- The apartment sleeps 5 adults. Children are welcome.
-Check in is at 3 pm - 9 pm (Please call us if you can't get here within that time frame). Check out is at 11 am.
- A credit card number is required when your reservation is made to hold your room. It is not charged until you check in.
- Between Columbus day - Memorial Day there is a 2 night minimum requirement.
Between Memorial Day to Columbus day there is a 3 day minimum.
- We are open 7 days a week,
Cancellation
- If a cancellation is made 14 days or more prior to your arrival, your credit card will not be charged. If your cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to your arrival, you will be charged a 50% room fee unless we rebook your room. In which case you will not be charged at all.
No Smoking on the premises. If you are found smoking, you will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund of any kind.
Sorry no pets, 2 dogs on premises. They do not have access to the apartment. Please do not book with us if you are uncomfortable around dogs.
The owners, ages 82 and 65 live on the first and third floors of the house.

Meet our Critters: Annie, pictured at 7 years old. She stays on the third floor with us at night and is either on the first floor or side porch when she isn't outside in the yard. Annie is always with us and is not loose around the guests. She is a shy Bernese mountain dog because of COVID.
Meet Ladybug, our rescue puppy. She is about 2.5 years old and rescued at age 6 months. She is a total mix, Heinz 57 dog and the smallest dog we have ever had. She has some issues that we are working on, but she is very good in her crate on the first floor as a safe space for her. She also sleeps on the third floor and is always with Annie, Kathleen or Peter.
Our cat, Isabella, lives on the 3rd floor in the family quarters. She is not allowed in the main house. We want to be considerate of guests with severe allergies. We have had guests with allergies to cats and they have not had any reactions.

Meet your hosts: Kathleen retired after a 37 year career in education. 34 of those years as a social studies teacher in high school. This is our 12th year in business (11 year open - thanks to COVID). We really love our extended family of regular guests. When working on the house, you will most likely find her on the water in her Kayak enjoying the many lakes and rivers in the Northern Adirondacks. She completed the certification requirements to be a NY outdoor guide and is a certified Red Cross lifeguard.
Peter is a retired contractor that discovered his love of golf late in life. After many years of maintaining this 1910 Dutch Colonial he has been allowed to truly retire and take advantage of the many golf courses in the area. Don't get confused when they refer to their dogs as "The Girls" or our "puppies", since they are part of the family, too.
