Summer Activities:
Boating and Fishing: Easy access to Lake Flower (boat launch across the street), Lower Saranac Lake and Middle Saranac Lake. Enjoy canoeing and kayaking on the many rivers, ponds and lakes in our area. For help getting outfitted for camping and paddling trips check out St. Regis and Adirondack Lakes and Trails
Hiking: All ability levels of hiking nearby. Baker Mt. is part of the Saranack Lake 6rs mountain challenge, the trailhead is a 15 minute walk, the 46 High Peaks are a close 30 minute drive.
Golfing: Centrally located between the 18 hole courses at Saranac Inn and Lake Placid and our own 9 hole course at Ray Brook, NY. Also the 36 hole course, designed by Robert Trent Jones, is only an hour drive to Malone, NY.
Beaches: From the village public beach at Lake Colby to nearby Lake Clear and Middle Saranac.
Theatre: Pendragon Theatre is practically in our backyard. It is the only year round theatre in the Adirondack Park.
Dining:
We have a variety of restaurants in Downtown Saranac Lake, all within walking distance. You can also enjoy an evening of 5 star dining in Lake Placid.
Adirondack Carousel: Just celebrated its first year anniversary. The Adirondack Carousel is a beautiful tribute to the wildlife and culture of the Adirondack Mountains. Take a ride on a black fly or a snapping turtle in this unique indoor carousel.
Mountain Biking: Dewey Mt. recreation center is a short 10 minute ride from the Partridge Cottage providing 5.5 miles of biking trails.
